History of IBF
The IBF, which focuses on global economic issues every year, brought Bosnia and Herzegovina to its agenda during the 23rd annual congress on 17th of October 2019. The main theme of the Congress was Unite to be One: Turn Diversities into Opportunities at One Hub, One Center, One Heart”.


22nd IBF Congress was held synchronously with 17th MUSIAD Expo Fair in Istanbul under the auspices of H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Republic of Turkey on November 20, 2018. The main theme of the Congress was ‘Pluralism and Justice in the World Monetary System’. During the panel sessions, we tried to find answers to the questions below:
“How the world financial system can be fair and just?”
“What are the necessary steps to build up alternative economic models?”
“Is it possible to pass to pluralistic monetary systems?”
Additionally, the role of Blockchain System and cryptocurrencies for international monetary system was discussed on panel session.

21. MUSIAD International Business Forum (IBF) and 3. Silk Road Music Conference is held in Jordan’s capital city Amman in 18 November 2017. Held under the coordination of MUSIAD Foreign Organizational Development Commission in Four Seasons Hotel and hosted about 1000 businessmen from 30 countries, MUSIAD attended to the congress with about 100 businessmen.


20th International Business Forum that was conducted in İstanbul form a strong platform in order that countries can achieve superiority as compared with other countries in the competitive world of innovation economy and also entrepreneurial ecosystem have been formed with commercialization and development of technology simultaneously.
The 19th International Business Forum in Doha clearly established a strong platform for advancing strategic relations between Qatar and Turkey in the high technology defence and defence-related sectors to the potential benefit of both countries and, longer term, their global trade and investment partners.
The 18th edition of the annual event was attended by 51 ministers from 39 countries and 7246 international delegates from 123 countries.


The 17th Inetnarional Business Forum (IBF) was held with the participation of nearly 500 businessmen from 20 different countries in Marrakesh, Morocco.


The 16th edition of the annual event was attended 30 ministers from 21 countries and 5000 international delegates from 86 countries.


The 15th International Business Forum (15) was held in the capital of the Kingdom of Jordan; Amman, on May 16-19, 2011, when more than 900 prominent businessmen from 5 countries participated in the annual event of the forum.


The 14th International Business Forum was held in the largest city of the Republic of Turkey; Istanbul, on 5-10 November 2010, where 35 ministers from 26 countries and over 5500 businessmen from 71 countries participated in the annual event of the forum.


The 13th session of the annual event of the International Business Forum which was held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on 12-16 October of 2009, 24 ministers from 17 countries and 2200 businessmen from 33 countries around the world attended.


The 12th International Business Forum, was held in the largest city of the Turkish Republic; Istanbul, on October 21-26, 2008, where 23 ministers from 17 countries and more than 3,250 businessmen from 57 countries participated in the annual event of the forum.


The 11th International Business Forum was held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of United Arab Emirates, on 27-29 November 2007, where 8 ministers from 6 countries and 1,300 businessmen from 33 countries participated in the annual event of the forum. .


The 10th International Business Forum was held in the largest city of the Turkish Republic; Istanbul, on November 22-25, 2006, where 13 ministers from 13 countries and nearly 3,200 businessmen from 61 countries participated in the annual event of the forum.


The 9th session of the annual event of the International Business Forum, which was held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jeddah, on 2-3 October 2005, was attended by 7 ministers from 6 countries and 1050 businessmen from 15 countries around the world.


The 8th session of the annual event of the International Business Forum, which was held in Istanbul on 15-18 September 2004, was attended by 13 ministers from 11 countries and 1,250 businessmen from 52 countries around the world.


The 7th International Business Forum was held in the capital of the Iranian Republic, Tehran, on 18-20 October 2003, in which more than 1,000 prominent businessmen from 7 countries participated in the event.


The 6th International Business Forum was held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, on 12-14 April 2001, in which more than 300 prominent businessmen from 28 countries from different countries of the world participated.


The 5th International Business Forum was held in Cape Town; The legislative capital of the Republic of South Africa, on 11-14 April 2000, in which more than 250 prominent businessmen from 27 countries of the world participated in it.


The 4th International Business Forum was held in Istanbul, on November 18-21, 1998, and nearly 3,000 prominent businessmen from 47 countries participated in the meeting.


The third International Business Forum was held in Istanbul, on 19-22 November 1997, and nearly 3,000 prominent businessmen from 17 countries participated in it.


The second International Business Forum was held in the largest city of the Turkish Republic; Istanbul, on 20-22 November 1996, and 2941 prominent businessmen from 27 countries participated in it.
